Privacy policy
General information
You can use our website without providing any personal data.
Different rules may apply to the use of individual services on our website, which will be explained separately below. If personal data (e.g. title, name, address, email address, telephone number, etc.) is collected on our website, this is always done on a voluntary basis wherever possible. We treat this data confidentially and only in accordance with the provisions of German data protection law. The following provisions inform you about the type, scope and purpose of the collection, processing and use of personal data. This data protection declaration applies only to our websites. If you are redirected to other websites via links on our website, please inform yourself there about how your data is handled. Data is personal if it can be clearly assigned to a specific natural person.
The legal basis for data protection can currently be found in the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and the Telemedia Act (TMG).
We would like to point out that internet-based data transmission has security gaps, making complete protection against access by third parties impossible.
Inventory data
Your personal data, insofar as it is necessary for the establishment, content, or modification of the contractual relationship (master data), will be used exclusively for contract processing. For example, your name and address must be passed on to the supplier of the goods for delivery. Without your express consent or without a legal basis, your personal data will not be passed on to third parties outside of the contract processing. After the contract has been fully processed, your data will be blocked for further use. After the expiration of the tax and commercial law regulations, this data will be deleted unless you have expressly consented to its further use.
Contact option
On our website we offer you the opportunity to contact us by email and/or via a contact form. In this case, the information provided by the user, including the contact details provided there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing their contact and in the event of follow-up questions. Data processing for the purpose of contacting us is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR on the basis of your voluntarily granted consent. Your data will be deleted after your request has been processed, provided you so wish and there are no statutory retention periods that prevent deletion. Data will not be passed on to third parties without the user's express consent. The data collected in this way will also not be compared with data that may be collected by other components of our website.
SSL encryption
This website uses SSL encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as the inquiries you send to us as the website operator. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the browser's address line changing from "http://" to "https://" and by the lock symbol in your browser's address bar.
If SSL encryption is activated, the data you send to us cannot be read by third parties.
Information about cookies
Our website sometimes uses cookies to recognize repeated visits to our website by the same user/internet connection owner. Cookies are small text files that your internet browser saves on your computer. They serve to make our website more user-friendly, effective, and secure.
Most of the cookies we use are so-called "session cookies." They are automatically deleted after your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them. These cookies transmit information (such as your IP address) and thus enable us to recognize your browser the next time you visit, providing you with easier access to our website.
You can configure your browser to inform you about the use of cookies and to only accept cookies on a case-by-case basis, to exclude cookies for specific cases or in general, and to automatically delete cookies when you close your browser. Disabling cookies may limit the functionality of this website.
Server data
For technical reasons, our web space provider automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us, such as:
- Browser type and version
- operating system used
- Website from which you visit us (referrer URL)
- Website you visit
- Date and time of your access
- amount of data transferred
- Hostname of the accessing computer (your Internet Protocol (IP) address)
This anonymous data is stored separately from any personal data you may have provided and therefore cannot be traced back to a specific person. This data will not be merged with other data sources. It may be evaluated for statistical purposes in order to optimize our website and our offerings. The legal basis for this data processing is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.
We reserve the right to subsequently review this data if we become aware of concrete indications of illegal use.
Social plugins from Facebook
We use social plugins from facebook.com, operated by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA. The plugins can be recognized by the Facebook logo or the addition "Facebook Social Plugin." If, for example, you click the "Like" button or leave a comment, the corresponding information is transmitted directly from your browser to Facebook and stored there. Facebook also makes your preferences public for your Facebook friends. If you are logged in to Facebook, Facebook can directly associate your visit to our page with your Facebook account. Even if you are not logged in or do not have a Facebook account, your browser transmits information (e.g. which website you visited, your IP address) that is stored by Facebook. For details on how Facebook handles your personal data and your rights in this regard, please see Facebook's privacy policy: http://www.facebook.com/policy.php. If you do not want Facebook to assign the data collected about you via our websites to your Facebook account, you must log out of Facebook before visiting our websites.
Use of YouTube plugins
Our website uses plug-ins from the YouTube site operated by Google. The site is operated by YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. When you visit one of our pages equipped with a YouTube plug-in, a connection is established to the YouTube servers. The YouTube server is informed which of our pages you have visited. If you are logged into your YouTube account, you allow YouTube to assign your surfing behavior directly to your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account. Further information on how user data is handled can be found in YouTube's privacy policy at "www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy".
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. ("Google"). Google uses cookies. The information generated by the cookie about the use of the website by users is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Google will use this information on our behalf to evaluate the use of our website by users, to compile reports on activities within this website and to provide us with other services related to the use of this website and internet usage. In doing so, pseudonymous user profiles of users may be created from the processed data.
We only use Google Analytics with activated IP anonymization. This means that the user's IP address will be shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. The IP address transmitted by the user's browser will not be merged with other Google data.
Users can prevent cookies from being saved by selecting the appropriate settings in their browser software. Furthermore, users can prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and relating to their use of the website, as well as from processing this data, by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.
Further information on Google's use of data for advertising purposes, settings and objection options can be found on Google's websites: www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy/partners ("How Google uses data when you use our partners' websites or apps"), http://www.google.com/policies/technologies/ads ("Use of data for advertising purposes"), http://www.google.de/settings/ads ("Manage information that Google uses to show you ads") and http://www.google.com/ads/preferences ("Determine which ads Google shows you").
Google Maps
We use the “Google Maps” component of Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA, hereinafter “Google”, on our website.
Each time the "Google Maps" component is accessed, Google sets a cookie to process user settings and data when displaying the page on which the "Google Maps" component is integrated. This cookie is generally not deleted when the browser is closed, but expires after a certain period of time unless you manually delete it beforehand.
If you do not agree to this processing of your data, you have the option of deactivating the "Google Maps" service and thus preventing the transmission of data to Google. To do so, you must deactivate the JavaScript function in your browser. However, please note that in this case, you will not be able to use "Google Maps" or will only be able to use it to a limited extent.
The use of "Google Maps" and the information obtained via "Google Maps" is subject to the Google Terms of Use http://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/terms/regional.html and the additional terms and conditions for "Google Maps": www.google.com/intl/de_de/help/terms_maps.html .
